Day 10

I always found it funny how food and bring people together. Tonight we both took part in cooking dinner, I mastered the crock pot and the stove while he took charge of the grill so that we could have ribs and rice. It came out rather well!

Just before cooking Jonathan told me his parents liked me which means a lot to me! Then he got a phone call from his dad, his dad asking if I'd join them for Thanksgiving dinner. Naturally I accepted and look forward to it!

Jonathan only sealed how much of a sweetheart he is when he asked if I wanted him to bring me something to drink. I said a Lemon Arizona tea sounded good and I wondered why it took so long to come to my house. Well he stopped at 4 gas stations to find the right one. How I got so lucky to be this spoiled lord only knows. His kind gestures mean so much to me.

Day 8

Ever just lay around smiling and laughing with someone for hours on end? We have. Between swapping stories and telling jokes (ok and maybe sharing a few kisses too) I had a wonderful evening. Jonathan offered to help me clean out my cabinets and ended up with him attempting to consume warheads like it was cool. It made for some silly faces and more laughs. This silly sweetie has quickly stolen my heart.

Let's start at the begining...

A week ago, a young man took me out to grab a bite to eat at Pizza Hut then spent the rest of the evening telling stories, sharing laughs and looking at the stars. He softly kissed my forehead and I knew I was in for it...

The next day he met me at work for lunch. Just a few spare minutes to see each other. That evening he came over to my house and we curled up to watch a movie, just simple and fun. It was clear to see we were both hooked. So much so that he asked me to be his girl and I said yes.

Thursday evening he and I took our dogs to the park and let them play while we bonded over silly things and enjoyed seeing one another. We parted briefly then ended up back at my home for another movie and listened to music together in the dark.

Come Friday he had some family fun planned and I attended a girl's night. We were both pretty anxious to see each other the next day. So much so that late at night he decided he had to come see me. It was so sweet to just enjoy listening to the radio and giggling together.

Saturday we had plans to go out with my friends, after dinner at the Fun Factory and a little time at Whiskey Road we cut the fun short and headed home. He sure looked handsome in his button down and boots.

After work and church on Sunday we spent the evening on the living room floor making jewlery. He took an interest in my craft and oddly enough made a gorgeous set in blues and purples.

On the 7th day, mid-afternoon he showed up with a bag full of feathers to make earrings with and I don't think he could have been more adorable. We made things until the early evening, laughing and being silly. As we kissed good night just before he headed home we both whispered those 3 little words.

And that's where our love story begins...
